The nintendo switch does not have build in voice chat but with a newly released smartphone app for Android and Apple phones it’s not possible to play online with friends. Well, sort of anyways. Making parties with other people online for Splatoon 2 or other games is incredibly hard and if it closes or you put your phone in sleep the apps shuts down. I HATE IT, grrrr.
